Next we flew to Auckland, largest city in New Zealand, having over a million people (over ¼ of the countries population) Postcard of Auckland's Sky Tower, which is taller than Sydney's AMP Tower by a few feet, but the viewing area is several hundred feet lower than the AMP Tower's was. We stayed in the hotel attached to the tower. Auckland's main harbor, with some islands in background

Auckland Harbor Bridge Motorways in Auckland (think interstates), along with green areas Looking down the Sky Tower to the hotel where we stayed, Sky City. Bad idea putting 115 college kids in a hotel that has a casino in it.

Auckland Harbor, with Rangitoto Island, an extinct volcano On one of our field trips, right at the shore were lots of these bright blue fish swimming around. They were about a foot long, and not afraid of people swimming with them. Sky Tower
