	Sheep not only can be found in fields all over the country, sometimes they cover the road too	Rocky area that looked cooler in person

A cave that was nearby the road, I didn't venture any farther into it because I didn't want to get wet. The signs said it was only about 1000 feet to the exit. The water is "Cave Stream".	The exit of the cave	You gotta love New Zealand warning signs, they're very literal. This bridge had a single lane shared by both directions of traffic and trains.

Blue glacier-fed river (the weather went downhill for the rest of the weekend)	Waterfalls in the valley of Franz Josef Glacier	The terminal end of Franz Josef Glacier, the fastest moving glacier in the world. It only takes about 4 years for snow at the top to end up down here.

Close-up of the cave where the water came out of the glacier, supposedly one of the most dangerous places on a glacier because ice falls off at random (calving), and water can just burst out too	A few miles down the road is Fox Glacier, similar to Franz Josef but slower. Both glaciers go into temperate rain forest areas. The smears are because it was pouring rain and the wind was blowing towards me.	Postcard of what Franz Josef should look like in good weather

Arthur's Pass, the road there is just hanging on the side of a cliff	This might be Lake Pearson, I forget
